About Steven Lodge - Intervention Specialist
 Steven Lodge practiced law in California for eight years as a civil litigation attorney.
After a successful career in law, Steven opened a manufacturing company where he served as President.
During this time, Steven struggled with his own drug and alcohol addiction. His family ultimately sought the services of an interventionist Specialist who helped Steven and his family begin the process of recovery.
After working in the corporate world for over a decade, he sold his company, and decided to lay the foundation for pursuing a career as an intervention specialist.
He went on to study drug and alcohol counseling at UCLA and interned at Phoenix House and Brotman Medical Center’s Exodus program. Steven is a member of C.N.D.A.I. (Certified National Drug and Alcohol Interventionist).
The Recovery Community - Intervention Specialist
Following his legal and business career, Steven focused his efforts on becoming an intervention specialist, and created the California Rehab Guide, a comprehensive drug and alcohol rehabilitation directory providing information on licensed drug and alcohol rehab facilities, articles, recovery related links and a directory of attorneys who specialize in drug related issues.
"My family labored for nearly a week searching for interventionists and rehab facilities. Living with addiction is a devastating and exhausting experience for the entire family.
Finding the right treatment facility and services to support recovery shouldn't be that way. My goal was to produce a comprehensive website that would assist those in need of recovery services with a free, easy to use resource."
While there are several intervention specialist models to choose from, Steven’s approach to intervention depends on the patient and the family on a case-by-case basis. Regardless of the model used, the intervention is presented in a loving, caring manner with a focus on obtaining treatment for the patient and assisting the family with their own recovery needs.
Steven is uniquely qualified as an intervention specialist due to the combination of skills and life experience he brings to the process.
His courtroom skills enable him to think quickly on his feet and deal productively, yet compassionately, in high stress and sometimes adversarial environments.
Additionally, the research he conducted for the creation of his website has resulted in a strong working knowledge of the various rehab facilities throughout California and serves the immediate needs of his clients.
